Step 3: Download the Team Leader Application and Packet and complete the Crisis Response Team Application found on page 4. Once you have completed it, please scan and email it to respond@efca.org (If you are unable to scan you may fax these documents to 985-893-0175)

Questions? - Email respond@efca.org or call 985.888.1060

Note: You will receive a confirmation email from our office confirming the receipt of your application and the dates of your trip. Please notify us if dates and team size change.

Step 4: Read the Team Leader Checklist found on pages 5-7 of the Team Leader Packet. Next, determine the total cost of the trip which includes ReachGlobal Crisis Response Fees**, transportation, lunches, and any other costs that the team leader deems necessary.

Step 5: Begin to promote your trip. The use of Facebook or other social media outlets are great ways to inform people of your intent to send a team. Also utilize church bulletins and newsletters, your email list, word of mouth and any other way that you have used for other events/activities. Including a photo is always a draw. Sample text is below:

“XYZ Church is sending a team to Louisiana from Sunday, XX/XX/XX through Saturday XX/XX/XX to help people rebuild their lives and homes following the devastating floods in August. Join us in being the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. The cost per person is $XXX.XX including room and board, food, project costs, transportation and XXX.

If you are interested in this opportunity to share the love of Christ with those in need, please contact John Doe at XXX-XXX-XXXX or email him at XXXXXXX@XXXX.org."

Once your team is formed a $25.00 per person deposit is required. The packet and checklist have simple instructions on where to send deposits and the balance of fees, what forms that each team member will be required to fill out prior to your trip and other helpful information.

**ReachGlobal Crisis Response Fees go towards sustaining the volunteer response during the long-term recovery, and includes lodging, most meals, T-shirt, ministry/construction supplies/materials and to cover ongoing ReachGlobal ministry needs. Additional information is in the Team Leader Packet.
