ReachGlobal Crisis Response shows the love of Christ to those in need in the mission field that follows crisis. In the wake of a disaster, a spiritual awakening occurs. By being long-term responders, there is the opportunity to build relationships and share the hope of Jesus with the goal of multiplying disciples and seeing gospel transformation of people and communities.
You don't need construction skills to be a part of the crisis response ministry. Cooks are always welcome to keep our short-term volunteers fed before and after they go to the job site. Your responsibilities would be to:
- plan the meals and shop for the ingredients
- prepare and clean up after the meals
- encourage the short-term team to look for God sightings
- listen to the team's stories of God working through them
If you are comfortable preparing breakfasts and suppers for large quantities of people and love to have meals ready at a set time, accept the challenge to keep our volunteers fed. Join the ReachGlobal Crisis Response team in New Orleans as our Food Manager for three months or longer!
